CVPR 2019 Best Paper Award
The paper titled “A Theory of Fermat Paths for Non-Line-of-Sight Shape Reconstruction” won the best paper award at CVPR 2019!! Congratulations to Shumian Xin, Sotiris Nousias, Kiriakos N. Kutulakos, Aswin C. Sankaranarayanan, Srinivasa G. Narasimhan, and Ioannis Gkioulekas for their excellent work. The following quote from the awards committee sums up the contributions of this paper nicely: “this paper makes significant advances in non-line-of-sight reconstruction — in essence the ability to see around corners. It is a beautiful paper theoretically, as well as inspiring. It continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in computer vision.”
